re-read my blog, the past few entries, and i suprise even myself. Woah, this anger thing definitely isn't the usual me. I guess i must have been feeling pretty shitty the past few weeks. Life has been pretty topsy-turvy this few days. If i were to audition for the role of a drama mama, soapy weepy korean drama, with my recent life story as the script, i prolly would have made it. If they were to reject me, it'll prolly be due to this few clauses... *drumroll pls:)*
1. The story's too complicated. How come it seems like the world's getting smaller and smaller, and everyone just seems to know everyone else?
2. Its too draggy to be true. What this? the taiwan soap opera "zhen qing".. or what ever that is that spans 100 episodes of so?
3. There's just too much coincidences, its bordering on cliche. How many times can you bump into a person, at that exact wrong time at the wrong place? Even fervent taiwan meteor garden, dolphin bay fans won't buy this.
4. (& yes yes, i can just see everyone nodding in unison) The characters just ain't cool enuff, of pretty enuff, or cute enuff for a korean drama. B -grade movie, maybe... then again, that would still be a bit of a stretch.
5. The dialogue just ain't smart enuff. i mean "i dun know" and "you're confusing me" just won't cut it as soap worthy dialogue. It just confuses the viewers as much as it has prolly confused the main characters.
6. There prolly ain't gonna be a happy ending. Arh.. heck, not even gonna be a proper ending. and you know how viewers hate that.
& therefore. rejected.
but then again, the director will prolly find some worthy scenes in my life, which the story can be built on *drumroll again*
1.Although cliche, i must say the coincidences is right out of a korean drama. I mean, come on, such stuff just dun happen in real life.. unless you're one BIG SUAY shit (& that would be me)
2. Well, some scenes are seriously idol drama worthy. Think the scenes in meteor garden that makes young teeange girls go "Awwww..."
3. The storyline is convoluted enough.
haha.. enuff of that crappy dig at myself and my pathetic recent happenings. Tho I've been mainly blogging about this matter for the past two weeks or so, my life has definitely not been stagnating at that(tho the same can't be said for my thoughts). A little bit of update tho... The freedom after the SGH stint is utterly yummay. I get to sleep late without a care, and spend carefree afternoons on dvd marathons.
Oh, and amazingly, in this 2 plus short weeks, i did about 3 diff jobs!!
1. Worked for Nobel Biocare. Some telemarketing crap that i was supposed to call dentists in the whole of singapore to make tham attend a $220 talk by BIGSHOT Eric Van Dooren (whom most of them actually haven't heard of). As you can expect, I managed to convine about 1-2 dentists after calling like at least 300 of them. Mostly, i had to take shit from curt and rude clinic assistants, who can understand or even spell terms like prosthodontics and implants. HA... but the funniest thing ws when i had to call Dr Poon, who was once my dentist.
So i was like
me: Hi, dr poon, dunno if you remember me, but you once did my braces for me.
My name's yiying
Dr : Yiying.... Doesn't really ring a bell...
Me: Think again... I'm the Asher Lim's case... remember?
Dr: *taken aback*... oh yes, i remember you! (ghost of the past comes back to huant him)
Haha, and after that, he was like super cordial, and friendly to me, and even agreed to go for the Eric Van Doreen talk!!! Hohoho.. i wasn't blackmailing him, i promise!! Anyway, it was a easy peasy one and a half day work that allowed me to pocket a HEFTY $75. haha.. hey dun knock it, its money after all.
2. And i've signed up for Zenitant!! While the pay seriously sucks big time, the job's like uberly fun. Went for only one trail so far, at vivo city, and sad to say, i tio the brat pack. 2 girls in my group cried, and the boys in my group were utter monkeys. I Practically shouted across the vivocity so many times, i am so sure no more image le. But i enjoyed it:) and i wanna do more trails! haha.. esplanade on monday coming up...
3. Yea, and of course there's my longstanding clinic assisstant job at healthmark. Think i am getting better at it. Although i must apologise for ALMOST dispensing the wrong medicine twice the week before last (well, not really my fault, it's cuz an utter shit pissed me off so). Ha, but i decidedly grew closer to serene. And thats good, cuz more friends never hurt ( and considering the fact that i am already gonna lose another few this hols...
And i haven't been shopping much this few days. Saving my money for my taiwan trip, tho my mummie's the bestiest mummy of all!! She paid for my trip, and gave me another S$ 500 for shopping!! haha.. all expenses paid trip rawks. haha.. and life still goes on despite the little (or maybe not so little unhappiness) i've experienced this hols.
But seriously, before this hols started, i wasnalmost 100% sure this holday is gonna ba a peaceful quiet one. Talk about total opposites. But from now, i know its gonna be quiet. Becuase i know after that scene yesterday in his school, there's gonna be close to 0% chance he is still gonna contact me. Despite what i told him on tuesday. Despite the fact that i spent 2hrs going down to toa payoh on wednesday, just so i can carry out what i promised, although he obviously don't care. Despite that i told him, i will be going down to his school anyway. I guess it was that not-even-so-much of a goodbye as he left with his frens to go clubbing that speaks volumes. Seems like i am the only one feeling sad nowadays. Ok, enuff of this ramblings. This has been one hell of a long blog entry.
Tata..gotta go read up on Ngee Ann Kongsi and think about the most life-changing moments in my life. To all my frens who actually know of my blog (no, i dun randomly give my blog add out), and read it just because you care... i luv you guys okie? And yes.. i'm fine!! HUgx to all!!!
